System Engineer (Terraform)

Established in 2016, the Greek entity Arηs Developments Hellas aims to extend Arηs Group activities dedicated to the European market providing high-quality services in Software Development, covering the entire application development lifecycle: starting with user requirements, business process redesign and specifications, to continue with development, testing and application maintenance.

We are looking for a Senior System Engineer to join our growing team in one of the biggest European organizations.

• Deployment and application of hotfixes and patches to ensure system integrity and security.
• Administer Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) resources (Azure/AWS).
• Manage updates and upgrades for Windows Azure/AWS Virtual Machines (VMs).
• Upgrade and migrate Microsoft Windows Server instances to the latest OS versions.
• Monitor server performance, identify potential issues, and propose robust solutions.
• Implement automated configuration management for infrastructure using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Act as a second-tier responder to incidents, investigating root causes and applying mitigations or permanent solutions.
• Manage ENTRA ID, OAuth 2/OpenID, and SAML authentication protocols.
• Administer Windows Servers, including Virtual Machines, Active Directory (AD), ADFS, and Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM).
• Manage and optimize reverse proxy and load balancer equipment and services.

• Update management for Linux Azure/AWS Virtual Machines.
• Administration of Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
• Load Balancer and Application Gateway administration.
• Hardening of Windows/Linux servers to enhance security.
• Ubuntu Linux server management, including updates and performance tuning.
