Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for monitoring SW and SYS engineering quality on projects through the activities ensuring project processes and work products adherence to the standards and Magna Electronics development process.
What you can expect

  • Define System-Software Quality Assurance strategy for the assigned project considering customer and other stakeholders specific requirements
  • Support project in process tailoring performance
  • Support given to the project team in terms of standard development process available in STAGES, and quality standards e.g. ASPICE
  • Plan the corresponding activities as defined in the quality strategy
  • Create work products required for this role such as QA manual, QA timing plan, reviews and discipline readiness documentation, monthly quality status reports
  • Perform regular QA evaluations on process compliance, work products and reviews performance, starting with quality requirements from the quotation phase.
  • Evaluate the maturity of SW and SYS deliverables and releases for projects milestones, raise the risks where it is the case
  • Participate in ASPICE assessments and/or gap analysis on the assigned projects
  • Regular tracking on the identified non-conformances, if there is no progress the escalation to the upper level required
  • Knowledge and support project root cause analysis of identified repetitive or critical issues
  • Continuously contributing on standard process improvement


What you'll bring

  • Bachelor in Technical field, Engineering or Computer Science
  • At least 5 years of working experience in automotive area, embedded development, quality Software and/or System
  • Experience in project development life cycle implementation
  • Good knowhow on quality relevant standards, e.g. ASPICE, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3
  • ASPICE provisional assessor or any other related certification is considered a plus
  • Experienced or having knowledge about tools such as Windchill PLM, PTC RV&S / CodeBeamer / or other CM/ALM tool in general, Enterprise Architect, QAC, Polyspace, GitHub, STAGES process handling
  • Knowledge of functional safety, e.g. ISO 26262 Road vehicles - Functional safety, and Cyber Security, e.g. ISO/SAE 21434 Road vehicles - Cybersecurity engineering
  • Ability to moderate and perform reviews and root cause analysis
  • Working on the process deployment is considered an advantage
  • Willingness to support and drive improvements within the engineering quality organization.
  • Team player who is proactive, organized, quality and customer oriented, open to communicate
