Technical Engineer – Vehicle Fire Protection Systems

We are looking for a Technical Engineer to provide technical sales support, training, and design applications across the EMEA region. This role requires a hands-on approach to supporting customers, delivering training, and ensuring seamless communication between customers and internal business functions.

What You Will Do

  • Provide technical & onsite support to customers across the EMEA region, including remote locations.

  • Support the full range of ANSUL Vehicle Fire Protection Systems.

  • Design and deliver customer and internal employee training.

  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal business functions such as product management and R&D.

  • Draft technical letters/statements for customer-specific issues and solutions.

  • Offer field support for technical problem-solving.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Customer-focused, team player with excellent problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts effectively.

  • General knowledge of the Fire Protection Industry with a specific focus on Vehicle Fire Protection Solutions.

  • Understanding and application of industry standards.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite; Salesforce.com & SAP experience is desirable.

  • Willingness to travel extensively (Africa, Southern Europe, Nordics in particular) including to remote locations such as mines.

  • FM5970 knowledge is an advantage.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in designing/installing Vehicle Fire Suppression Systems.

  • Ability to create and interpret Vehicle System Schematics.
