Coordinate and drive Gemini Enterprise training adoption across Google partner organisations in Europe. Engage partner training managers, track registrations and certifications, remove blockers, report status to stakeholders, and work with Google programme owners to meet rollout targets for 40,000+ learners.
Technical Program Manager — Gemini Enterprise Training | Europe Remote | 12-Month Contract
The Company
A global Data & AI consultancy founded by an ex-Google, Microsoft, and IBM executive. They specialise in high-automation data modernisation for Tier-1 enterprise clients, having migrated over 20 petabytes of data and validated 500+ trillion records across proprietary cloud acceleration platforms. They operate as a solutions partner embedded within Google's ecosystem, placing specialist talent directly into Google programmes.
The Opportunity
This is an embedded contractor role, placed by the consultancy but working within Google's partner training organisation. You will be part of a focused team driving the Gemini Enterprise training rollout across Europe — a programme targeting 40,000+ learners across Google's partner network in the region (part of a global 150,000-learner initiative).
This is a 12-month engagement with a stated intent to transition high performers directly into Google at the end of the term.
What You'll Do
Coordinate and drive training execution across Google's European partner organisations — companies like large SIs and global resellers who have their own internal training and skills teams. Your job is to engage those teams, track registration and completion, push certification pipelines forward, and keep the programme moving against Google's targets.
You are not building curriculum from scratch — Google's training content, certification paths, and tooling already exist. You are the engine that makes partner adoption happen at scale.
Specifically:
- Liaise with partner training managers to identify available candidates, track registration, and monitor certification completion
- Drive accountability across partner organisations where lethargy is the primary friction — chasing progress, removing blockers, maintaining momentum
- Present programme status and milestones to internal and partner stakeholders
- Work closely with the Google programme owner and their team on execution priorities
Who You Are
You have a background in delivering or managing technical training programmes — you understand how people engage with certification curricula, what makes them complete it, and how to move organisations through that process at scale.
You have enough GCP knowledge to have credible conversations about why certain training paths exist, what the certifications cover, and how Gemini, BigQuery, Anthos, and other GCP capabilities differ. You don't need to be a practitioner or architect — but you cannot be a pure project manager with no cloud context.
You hold GCP certifications, or have held them recently, or hold equivalent AWS/Azure certifications and are ready to add GCP. Working for Google's training team without believing in the certification process is a non-starter.
You are a strong communicator in English — all business is conducted in English regardless of location. You are self-directed and comfortable operating without a local office or management layer nearby.
Location
Remote, based in Europe. UK mainland is not the target for this search.
Compensation
Monthly contract rate, commensurate with market in your country of residence.
