Our brands typically occupy market leading positions in large verticals, and our total portfolio generates hundreds of millions of monthly sessions.

What you'll be doing…

We’re looking for a Technical SEO Manager with experience in a SEO role, who has a deep understanding of crawling, indexing and rendering and their importance when it comes to SEO success.

The Technical SEO Manager would be comfortable performing regular SEO audits - to include analysis on content quality and concepts such as E-E-A-T - to ensure SEO weaknesses and opportunities are identified and prioritised. With access to many SEO tools and log files, Google Analytics and Google Search Console, audits are expected to be data-led and actionable.

Keeping up to date with the latest SEO developments - including Google algorithm changes - is an important part of the role, as is making constant improvements to our bespoke platform to ensure it’s the best when it comes to SEO. From revamping taxonomies and internationalisation to improving page templates and internal linking, this is a hands-on role where you’ll be shaping some of the best sites in publishing. An equally important part of the role is the monitoring of site health across our wide range of websites, raising bugs and concerns.

Experience of website migrations would be advantageous, as the Technical SEO team is responsible for all migrations, which typically involve moving acquired websites over to Future’s bespoke platform.

The role would suit an existing SEO Manager who is looking to move into a varied and exciting role working across many established brands, or a SEO Executive / Senior SEO Executive who is looking to make the step up into a more senior role. The role may include line management of other staff.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

  • High level of expertise across technical SEO
  • Experience with on-page and off-page SEO
  • Experience of successful website migrations
  • Experience of performing in-depth SEO audits
  • Experience in Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Microsoft Excel /Google Sheets
  • Proficient with SEO tools such as OnCrawl, Screaming Frog, Content King, Ahrefs, SEMRush and AWR Cloud.

What's in it for you

The expected range for this role is £30,000 - £45,000

This is a Hybrid role from our Bath or Cardiff Office, working three days from the office, two from home

… Plus more great perks, which include;

  • Uncapped leave, because we trust you to manage your workload and time
  • When we hit our targets, enjoy a share of our profits with a bonus
