Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer to create clear, accurate, and engaging documentation that helps users understand and effectively use our products. In this role, you will research, write, edit, and proofread complex, topic-based technical content—including manuals, procedures, specifications, installation instructions, and training materials—in accordance with company standards and style guidelines.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Development, System Test, and Product Management to gather and validate information, ensuring technical accuracy and usability. The ideal candidate can adapt content to meet the needs of diverse user personas and will manage translation workflows to maintain consistency across languages.
This role also offers the opportunity to contribute to innovation initiatives, supporting continuous improvement in content planning, process efficiency, and the overall customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Research, write, edit, and proofread complex, topic-based technical documentation (manuals, procedures, specifications, installation instructions, training materials) in accordance with company standards and style guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Development, System Test, and Product Management, to gather and verify information.
- Tailor content to meet the needs of specific user personas.
- Conduct quality reviews and verify the accuracy of the product directly.
- Coordinate and manage translation processes to ensure consistency and accuracy across languages.
- Contribute to innovation initiatives within the organization, including content planning, feedback, and documentation of new solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communication, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent command / highly proficient in spoken and written English
- Teamwork skills, resilience, responsible and quality-conscious working methods, and technical understanding
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably within the ICT (Information and Communication Technology) sector.
- Our toolset includes Oxygen XML, DITA-XML, CMS platforms, Jira, Confluence, Git, Adobe Creative Suite, and Adobe FrameMaker.
- Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a quality-focused, proactive work ethic.
- Strong desire to learn new technologies, curiosity to figure out how things work, and a passion for improving the customer experience
- Technically inclined with the ability to grasp complex systems and translate them into straightforward, user-friendly content.
