About the Role & Team
Alongside the Technical Account Manager, lead systems evolution to deliver Disney Parks platform improvements to reservations and booking systems through API integration.
Act as Lead on the delivery of progressive technology projects, working closely and managing relationships with global partners, defining project scopes and maintaining timelines.
This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week
What You Will Do
- Partner with the Technical Account Manager and key partners in crafting technical specifications, collaborating closely with internal team members and external technology partners, from discovery/development through to solution delivery
- Build, maintain and lead relationships with core technology partners to support key business projects
- Take the lead on creating defined project requirements to develop and maintain detailed project plans to ensure project work and responsibilities are completed within agreed cost and timescales
- Be responsible for identifying any risks associated with projects and forming resolutions
- Demonstrate technical expertise and understanding, plus the ability to analyse and problem solve to propose technical solutions to meet business and project needs
- Work with the Senior Manager - Ecommerce and Digital on the digital roadmap, providing strategic feedback on technology to meet AOP goals
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Demonstrable experience of leading and managing technology projects
- Business analysis and technology systems support background, essential, within travel industry, preferable
- Proven experience in business analyst or equivalent role, with a focus on requirements gathering and shaping systems solutions, desirable
- Experience with issue-tracking tools such as JIRA
- Experience working within a large, matrix organisation
- Demonstrable experience of writing clear, comprehensive documentation/specifications
- Background of building relationships with both internal and external collaborators, both domestically and internationally
- Experience of supervising or managing and developing direct reports
- Solution driven approach to problem solving, using initiative
- Able to work as part of an effective team as well as independently whilst supervising a team
- Ability to build presentations to a high standard in accordance with brand guidelines, and deliver ideas in a clear and compelling manner
- Strong written and spoken English for business use, crucial, with the ability to effectively present both virtually and face to face, helpful
- Knowledge of the Disney brand and products and services the Company offers, with the ability to work within brand guidelines
