Job Title Transactional Foreign Exchange (FX) Product Manager

Location Dublin

The Transactional FX organisation manages products & connectivity to bring the Bank’s Cash Management and FX capabilities to our clients to deliver against the complex needs of our Corporate and financial institution client base.

You will work with our Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) and Global teams. You will work with our product specialists, sales and clients to clearly articulate challenges, product and solution requirements and market test our solutions to ensure seamless delivery of the end-product. Given the Global footprint of the Transactional FX platform, you will work on projects of a regional/global nature, whilst ensuring the requirements of clients in the EMEA region form a cornerstone in the global product strategy for our Transactional FX Product solutions.

Your key responsibilities

  • In depth understanding of the FX market, payment processes and insight into market problems faced by Corporate and Institution clients
  • Help define and drive changes to processes to align with target architecture across Front, Middle and Back Office functions
  • Work as part of a global team to develop innovative product strategies, business plans and provide requirements for market problems that are validated as urgent, pervasive and can be monetised
  • Ensure that the Operational Risks associated with the Functionality and Processes are identified, analysed, resolved or mitigated and controlled with discipline
  • Understand end to end picture of product financials & product performance/health to ensure sustainable performance & product profitability
  • Work closely with our technology teams to help deliver product capabilities to market in an agile and sustainable way

Your skills and experience

  • Track record of leading the delivery of successful product capabilities and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Able to travel as required
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and ability to build strong working relationships at senior management level (Managing Director/ Director level)
  • Thorough understanding of the financial services industry. Knowledge of Global Transaction Banking business areas including Cash, Trade, Trust and Custody a plus and Application Programming Interface (API)/Digital workflows 
  • Understanding of usage of FX in transaction banking including pricing, booking, settlement processes
  • Independent, flexible, committed and proactive and collaborative work style with a proven record of delivery is essential
