Operating in a fast-paced environment, Treasury manages Computershare bank accounts, handles banking and payment-related queries from internal and external stakeholders, undertakes due diligence across counterparties, and works closely with global teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and project activity.

A role you will love

As a Treasury Analyst, you will support the Treasury function by analysing Computershare’s financial activities relating to cash management, liquidity management, corporate debt, foreign exchange, interest rates and payments.

You will help deliver effective Treasury operations while providing insights that support financial stability and business growth. Working across a broad range of Treasury activities, you will engage with stakeholders across the business and contribute to the efficient management of cash, banking relationships, reporting, compliance and operational processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer and support Treasury banking operations, including bank account structures, cash pooling arrangements, bank account management, KYC activities, banking portals, mandates, account openings and closures, and bank fee monitoring.
  • Execute Treasury activities relating to liquidity management, cash forecasting, daily cash positioning, investments, borrowings, trade confirmations and transaction settlements.
  • Manage payment and reconciliation processes, including transaction initiation, approvals, settlements, payment queries, stop cheques, client interest calculations and associated controls.
  • Produce and analyse Treasury reporting, support month-end and year-end Treasury accounting activities, and provide insights on cash balances, cash flows, client balances, risk and margin income.
  • Support compliance, due diligence and regulatory requirements, identify process improvement opportunities, contribute to projects, and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver effective Treasury solutions.

What will you bring to the role

We are looking for someone with Treasury experience and strong analytical capabilities who can operate effectively in a dynamic and highly regulated environment. You will be comfortable working with financial data, solving problems, and working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Previous experience working in a Treasury environment, with knowledge of Treasury systems, processes, automation and the associated regulatory landscape.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial information, solve problems, develop recommendations and make sound judgements on routine Treasury activities.
  • Understanding of the financial services industry, Treasury trends and competitor positioning. Industry experience within banking or insurance would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across teams, sharing knowledge and mentoring colleagues.
  • Ideally educated to degree level in Finance or Accounting, with a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification being beneficial.
