We currently have an opportunity for a Treasury Operations Manager to join our Finance team based in Bristol or Exeter. Joining us on a full-time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive annual salary plus excellent benefits.
About the role:
You will be delivering the Corporate Treasury function's objectives and managing the company's risk management in relation to financial activities, including hedging of foreign exchange, interest rates and inflation.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting the Group Treasurer to maintaining the Group’s Banking relationships
- Leading the short to medium term liquidity forecasting model and credit rating models to ensure compliance with our policies and procedures
- Managing the Group’s treasury dealing and cash management
- Managing the Group’s debt portfolio, ensuring that the debt is serviced in accordance with the facility agreements and that the Group maintains an efficient debt portfolio
- Being accountable for month end treasury reporting to the accounting team
- Supporting the company with the Annual report and Performance reporting from a treasury position
- Taking responsible for the year end and Half year treasury reporting
- Managing the Group’s finance lease portfolio and debt portfolio
- Supporting the Group Treasurer with debt bank documentation
- Providing the interest and inflation forecasting for the Group
- Managing the interest forecasting
- Supporting with the regulatory review process and ongoing monitoring from the treasury perspective
- Preparing the management commentary for the Group on treasury matters for the board and executive committees
- Using our hedging policy and strategy to ensure that the groups hedging is maintained in accordance with the agreed position
- Working with the relevant subsidiaries to manage the budgeting process from a treasury perspective
- Delivering project work – relating to the operational treasury improvements and supporting projects relating to M&A, Price review and Renewables.
What we are looking for:
- Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA) and ideally a Treasury Qualification AMCT / MCT
- Extensive experience in fast paced accounting or treasury function
- Experience in Financial Risk Management
- Proven capability in forecasting and Financial Performance Analysis
- Experience with working with the external and internal audit teams.
