We are Spliced Inc. and we’re looking for a UI Artist.
About the Role:
Working closely with the design and art teams, your day to day will focus on developing and refining the overall UI for our game. You will take UI designs from concept through to final implementation. Additionally:
- Creative UI Development: Create innovative and high-quality UI concepts that align with the game’s world and the latest design trends.
- Consistent Visual Identity: Develop UI extensions and additional designs that adhere to the established visual style and standards.
About You:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in user interface (UI) design and artwork creation, gained within the gaming industry
- Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator, bonus if you have Figma
- Portfolio: A portfolio you’re proud of that demonstrates a wide range of UI art skills and styles.
- Visual Design Skills: Proficiency in visual design with a strong grasp of color theory, typography, layout, and graphical form. Branding design skills advantageous.
- UI Implementation Experience: Hands-on experience designing and implementing UI artwork in game engines, familiarity with development workflows and quick adaptability.
- Trend Awareness: Keen awareness of current and emerging trends in user interface design, with a focus on popular culture and how it influences design aesthetics.
- Passion for Gaming: A genuine passion for the gaming industry, with the ability to appreciate and critique various game designs.
