Product

  • Editorialist is looking for an experienced Product Designer with a strong understanding of user needs and a talent for crafting beautiful, intuitive interfaces to create engaging experiences for our web, mobile, and dashboard platforms.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design process for iOS mobile apps, responsive web, and dashboards, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
  • Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across platforms.
  • Optimize eCommerce experiences, focusing on conversion rates, CTA strategies, checkout flows, and user retention.
  • Design responsive experiences for both client-facing platforms and internal dashboards, ensuring usability across various screen sizes.
  • Craft intuitive and visually engaging UI for iOS mobile apps, adhering to platform guidelines and best practices.
  • Conduct benchmarking and competitive analysis to inform design decisions and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Utilize Google Analytics (GA), Clarity and other data tools to gain clarity on post-implementation performance and iterate based on insights.
  • Leverage A/B testing and data-driven insights to refine and enhance user interactions.
  • Work closely with engineers for smooth design handoffs, addressing feasibility constraints, and optimizing development time.
  • Collaborate with product managers to gather requirements, align on priorities, and ensure user needs are met.
  • Advocate for user-centered design, balancing aesthetics, functionality, and business impact while aligning with strategic goals.
  • Define and implement UX/UI strategies that align with usability best practices, user research insights, and business objectives.

More About You

  • 5+ years of experience in product design, preferably in eCommerce or consumer digital products.
  • Strong expertise in designing for iOS mobile apps, responsive web, and dashboards.
  • Expertise in UX/UI principles, usability best practices, and user research methodologies.
  • Experience with design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of eCommerce methodologies, including conversion optimization, CTA strategies, and checkout flows.
  • Proven ability to conduct benchmarking and competitive analysis to inform design decisions.
  • Experience with A/B testing, using data-driven insights to refine and enhance user experiences.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, business, and CX teams to align design with strategic goals.
  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance aesthetics, functionality, and business impact.
  • Design Tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), XD
  • Discovery: FigJam, Miro, Mobbin.
  • Platform Expertise: iOS mobile app design, responsive web, dashboard UX, digital magazine layouts
  • UX & UI: Wireframing, high-fidelity prototyping, design systems, usability testing
  • Data-Driven Design: Benchmarking, competitive analysis, A/B testing, conversion optimization
  • Collaboration & Processes: Agile methodologies, working with engineers, product managers, and researchers
