VP Finance – Defence Procurement, IT/Digital, Engineering

What you will be doing
The VP Finance plays a vital role in guiding the functions senior leadership team through key financial decisions related to the Defence business and its financial plans.
Key Accountabilities:
Defence Finance first line leadership role, reporting to CFO, Defence
Provide senior Finance support to the functional leadership teams, notably Director ET&S, Aerospace CPO, and Defence CDIO
Lead and support Procurement, CDIO and ET&S in developing and implementing its strategy and interactions with Defence
Establish with the procurement leadership team clear operational performance metrics and link to the financial performance – especially product cost and delivery
Responsible for all financials for all Defence function – including monthly reporting, operation of financial reporting internal controls, forecasts and budgets with accountability for managing financial risks and optimizing opportunities
Provide investment support, challenging and influencing to create value through decision making and programme execution
Lead and develop a team of finance managers globally and work collaboratively with peers on the Defence Finance Leadership Team

Who we’re looking for
Finance business partnering with strong analytical skills and ability to provide business insight
Strong communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills essential
Procurement experience preferred but not essential
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree with significant years of Accounting experience
