We are looking for a talented and experienced web developer with a focus on leveraging Shopify. API's and theme, account, checkout and admin extensions.
As a Shopify Platform Developer, your responsibilities will include the development, improvement, testing and deployment of web applications and Shopify extensions that underpin our eCommerce channels in Europe.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build, test, and deploy business web applications and Shopify extensions
• Interpret and translate business needs to technical requirements and accurate estimates
• Actively drive sound technical decisions that allow our software to operate with high quality, at large scale, and with a high level of availability.
• Stay closely aligned with emerging Shopify technologies and work with development lead to identify how they can be leveraged for our future roadmap across sales channels.
• Support in optimizing the management of product and content data on Shopify
• Work closely with the product owner, business analyst and development team to determine how bet to maintain and upgrade our Shopify ecosystem in-line with business priorities
Qualifications and Attributes:
· Bachelor’s degree required
· At least 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
· At least 5 years of experience with Shopify API's, Extensions, webhooks, admin, and development ecosystem.
· At least 3 years native JavaScript development experience, with deep understanding of the differences between ES5 and Es6-EsNext, CJS,UMD, and ESM and frontend frameworks such as React, Angular etc.
· At least 3 years of experience and proficiency with HTML and CSS/CSS3 for frontend development
· Knowledge of eCommerce best practices
· Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
· Hybrid work schedule in Bristol Office city center
