Own and grow Factbird's UK accounts by prospecting, building pipeline, running discovery and product demos, negotiating and closing software deals with manufacturers, collaborating with Customer Success, Product and Marketing, and regularly traveling to meet customers and attend industry events.
Imagine helping manufacturers across the UK work smarter, reduce downtime, and make better decisions through real-time production data.
This is an opportunity to combine commercial ownership with long-term relationship building, selling manufacturing intelligence solutions into an industry going through real digital transformation.
The Role
As Account Manager in the UK, you'll play a key role in growing Factbird's presence in the region, deepening relationships with manufacturers and expanding our footprint across an already established UK market. This includes
- Identifying, opening, and nurturing new customer relationships from scratch
- Building a strong and healthy sales pipeline of net new opportunities
- Understanding operational challenges within manufacturing environments
- Guiding prospects from first conversation to signed, long-term partnership
You will be a driving force in our UK market, shaping how we continue to grow and how we are perceived. It is for someone who gets energy from building, prospecting, and winning trust with manufacturers, someone who is genuinely comfortable selling software solutions such as Manufacturing Intelligence, MES, or MOM platforms into complex industrial environments, and who doesn't think twice about being on the road to make that happen.
You'll be part of our Northern European team, reporting to the Sales Director for the NEM region, collaborating closely with colleagues across the wider Northern Europe footprint while owning and growing your accounts across the UKI region.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow and develop the UK manufacturing market
- Build and manage a strong outbound pipeline
- Prospect strategically through outreach, networking, and industry events
- Lead value-driven discovery conversations
- Run tailored product demonstrations
- Own negotiations and close deals
- Establish Factbird as a trusted partner across the UK
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing
- Travel regularly across the UK — and occasionally further afield — to meet customers on-site, attend industry events, and build genuine relationships face to face
About you
You are commercially confident, structured, and relationship driven. You combine initiative with empathy — you are comfortable opening doors and building pipelines, but you do it through credibility, preparation, and genuine curiosity.
You take ownership of your region and are motivated by building sustainable partnerships rather than short-term wins. You enjoy autonomy, but you also value collaboration and being part of a supportive, cross-border team. Regular travel is part of what makes this role rewarding for you, not a downside of it.
Requirements
- Experience in full-cycle B2B sales
- Experience selling software solutions into manufacturing, industrial, or technical B2B environments — ideally Manufacturing Intelligence, MES, MOM, or similar production-focused platforms
- Ability to build and develop pipeline proactively
- Comfortable with regular travel across the UK and occasionally internationally
- Experience with CRM systems
Why This Role Is Special
- You will help scale Factbird's already established presence in the UK
- You will play a key role in how we continue to grow the market
- You will be part of a collaborative Northern European team
- You will have both ownership and support
- Your work will directly impact how we expand across one of our core markets
This is a role for someone who wants responsibility, influence, and the opportunity to grow something with real momentum already behind it.
