Job Details

The accountant role is essential in delivering operational Finance specialist services within a multifaceted and coordinated Finance function. Reporting to the Financial Accounting Lead, this role ensures processes are performed in accordance with performance and quality standards, contributing significantly to Kantar's financial integrity.

• Assist in maintenance, processing, and production of month/year-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, journals, and associated underlying schedules.
• Support the preparation and review of period close entries, general ledger accounts reconciliation, and analysis.
• Prepare monthly financial statements into the Kantar consolidation tool.
• Support the production and review of balance sheets with collaborators.
• Coordinate month-end and quarter-end reporting schedules.
• Accountable for the quarterly review of account analysis.
• Maintain knowledge management and documentation to ensure managers are well-informed.
• Foster relationships with customer/partner teams to address needs, supervise service delivery, and resolve performance issues.
• Develop sound professional working relationships with colleagues across KBS and Local Business, building their confidence and acquiring an understanding of the business.

• Proven experience as an accountant.
• Experience in producing year-end accounts and preparation for audit.
• Proficient English speaker, accurately able to read and write English and communicate efficiently.
• Ability to work in a changing and flexible organization.
• Willingness to work flexibly across geographic time zones during peak periods such as period end.

You'll join our Functions team, pivotal to our business, including Finance, Legal, and People Teams.
