TITLE: Compliance Analyst
LOCATION: Hybrid in New York, NY or Jacksonville, FL, or Remote (East Coast US)
SALARY: $80,000 - $100,000 plus bonus (based on NYC, will be adjusted for geo)
The Role:
The Compliance Analyst ensures adherence to legal and internal regulations by developing policies, conducting audits, and implementing compliance procedures across departments, while proactively managing risk assessments, employee training, and regulatory documentation for leadership. The ideal candidate has a strong background in compliance, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, ideally with experience in IT, security, compliance, audit and relevant certifications.
What You'll Do:

  • Ensure business processes and transactions comply with legal and internal guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, applying them to company operations.
  • Develop and implement company policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance across departments.
  • Conduct audits, compliance control testing, and risk assessments to identify potential areas of compliance risk.
  • Manage documentation, evidence, and reporting related to compliance activities and findings for leadership.
  • Own/Manage the Due Diligence Process.
  • Lead training and education on compliance policies, procedures, and best practices for employees.
  • Coordinate responses and due diligence requests from regulators and external parties.
  • Perform compliance checks on IT systems, user accounts, and security infrastructure, promoting adherence to IT, Security, Legal, and Compliance policies.


What We're Looking For:

  • 5 plus years experience in an Compliance role
  • Meticulous, detail oriented
  • Strong communication and writing skills


Preferred:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Compliance certification(s) such as CISA, CRISC, CIA, CIPP
  • Preferred experience in Audit, IT, Information Security, Project Management or Software Development
  • Experience with Privacy law
