We are actively seeking two Data Administrators to join our friendly, dedicated team on a 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract, with the potential for the roles to become permanent. These newly created positions will support the ongoing development of the STW Clean Water contract, working on key data migration, system integration and automation projects across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for organised and detail-focused individuals who enjoy working with data, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to the development of new processes and ways of working.

About the role

  • Location: Pride Park, Derby, DE24 8JH OR Vocun Yard, Stoney Gate Road, Spondon, DE21 7RX
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm
  • Lunch Break: 30 minutes
  • Salary: from £26,500

Responsibilities - but not limited to

  • Extracting data from the STW system and accurately uploading it into the Sapphire BigChange system.
  • Updating and maintaining records across parallel systems during a period of system integration and automation.
  • Performing data entry, data validation and data quality checks to ensure information remains accurate and up to date.
  • Liaising with field-based operatives to obtain missing, incomplete or incorrect information.
  • Supporting customers by providing information and responding to enquiries as required.
  • Working closely with IT and operational teams to support ongoing system improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring data integrity across multiple platforms.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes and efficiencies.
  • Prioritising workloads effectively to meet business requirements and project deadlines.
  • Supporting the wider team with general administrative activities as required.

Experience and qualifications required for the role

  • Previous administration, data administration or data entry experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience handling large volumes of data.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with customers, field teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

  • Experience supporting system migrations, integrations or data cleansing projects.
