Graduate Programme;

During this programme, you’ll gain valuable insight into our services and strategic projects and we’ll help you to further develop your skills and knowledge so that you can succeed in your career. You’ll also join our graduate network and receive our continued support throughout.

This will be a 2-year programme providing you with valuable exposure and insight into Veolia services and strategic Veolia projects. The successful candidate will be supporting the following HR teams: HR Services, Employee Experience and our Operational HR Teams, working on a range of projects and activities to support the delivery of the HR Strategy.

As part of the Graduate Development Programme, you will go through a structured development programme, undertaking leadership, management, soft skills and safety modules with your graduate cohort.

What you'll be doing;

- The successful graduate will gain insight into how HR Services play a key role in onboarding new employees, generating contracts, and paying over 14,000 employees.

- Learn to obtain the skills to answer a high volume of people's queries in a time-sensitive manner and support the digital transformation of the HR function.

- Work with the Employee Relationship Specialists to address and respond to sensitive people management cases, TUPE transfers, Mergers and Acquisitions, Policy Development, and Industrial Relations matters in partnership with our Trade Unions.

- Work with HR Business Partners to partner with the operational business in preparing our workforce for the future with Succession and Workforce planning.

- Learn to be a key contributor to our HR Strategy and work with our Reward, Resourcing, Culture and Transformation, Organisational Development, and Inclusion teams to develop and deliver innovative and forward-thinking plans to address our short, medium, and long-term people priorities.

What we're looking for;

- Degree-level qualification in a relevant Business or HR course (to be achieved by September 2025). 

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work as part of a team

- Willingness to learn new things and develop

- Being a key contributor to our HR strategy and working with our Employee Experience and People Development teams to develop and deliver innovative and forward-thinking plans to address our short, medium and long term people priorities.

- Drivers Licence (or willingness to get one)
