Overview

As the European Marketing Coordinator at ESAB, you will support the European Marketing Manager in executing the region’s marketing strategy. This role is integral to the team’s success, assisting in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, managing day-to-day administrative tasks, and coordinating marketing activities. This is an exciting opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented individual to grow in a fast-paced, international B2B environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own European Marketing Operations: Lead European marketing operations by executing strategies that align with both regional and global objectives, focusing on what resonates in European markets.

  • Campaign Planning and Execution: Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring regional marketing campaigns, including campaign setup, content gathering, and local implementation.

  • Marketing Material Localization: Support the creation and localization of marketing materials tailored for European markets to ensure cultural relevance and effectiveness.

  • Product Data Management: Ensure that product data and images are up-to-date and accessible across the region, facilitating seamless customer engagement.

  • Digital Marketing Initiatives: Assist in the development and maintenance of digital marketing initiatives, including social media, email marketing, and website content, to enhance online presence.

  • Event Management: Help organize and manage events and trade shows across Europe, including logistics, vendor coordination, and preparation of event materials.

  • In-Store Merchandising Support: Support in-store merchandising efforts, including order management and logistics, to optimize product visibility and sales.

  • Regional Marketing Coordination: Assist with the coordination of regional marketing requests, resource allocation, and ensure timely completion of marketing activities.

  • Sales Enablement: Support sales enablement initiatives by ensuring the sales team has access to the latest marketing materials and product information.

  • Translation Management: Manage the translation process from order to delivery to ensure all materials are accurately translated and culturally appropriate.

  • E-Commerce Initiatives: Assist with planning and operations for future e-commerce initiatives, contributing to the growth of online sales channels.

Qualifications

Technical Requirements

  • Familiarity with B2B and B2C advertising campaigns.

  • Proficient in MS Office and relevant applications.

  • Experience with marketing campaigns on social media platforms.

  • Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.

  • Willingness to travel approximately 15%.

Experience Requirements

  • Relevant degree in Marketing, PR, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in Public Relations and Marketing Communication within an international company.

  • Demonstrated success in designing and executing effective marketing or public relations campaigns.

  • Experience supporting brand initiatives and marketing activities.

  • Familiarity with social media platforms, including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

  • Experience working in a multi-stakeholder environment.

  • Event planning experience is a plus but not required.

  • Industry experience in welding is a plus but not required.
