The role

As a Senior Business Analyst, the role focuses on capturing requirements, improving processes, and aligning stakeholder needs across Fleet Alliance and the wider Global Vehicle Group. Alongside this, the role drives the delivery of projects from planning through to completion, ensuring solutions are implemented effectively, while also providing oversight of business analysis activities and line managing within the delivery function.

What will I be doing?

  • Provide oversight of business analysis activities within the delivery function, ensuring consistency and quality of delivery.
  • Line manage and support the development and performance of business analysis resources within the delivery function.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex requirements, issues, and stakeholder challenges.
  • Work closely with the Head of Technology to support and shape the technology roadmap and prioritisation of initiatives.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather and document requirements as user stories, process flows, or business requirements.
  • Engage stakeholders regularly to understand and align their needs with project objectives.
  • Analyse workflows to identify gaps and recommend process improvements.
  • Collect and interpret data from various sources to guide decisions and validate solutions.
  • Assess and challenge proposed features for alignment with business needs pre- and post-development.
  • Prepare project documentation, updates, and reports on progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Develop training materials and user guides for new systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with developers and IT to clarify requirements and ensure solutions meet expectations.
  • Support test planning, execution, and UAT to ensure solutions meet requirements.
  • Serve as a point of contact for system queries, offering guidance and basic technical support.
  • Deliver solutions end-to-end by managing plans, tasks, stakeholders, and communication across the full project lifecycle.

What will I need to succeed?

  • 5+ years’ experience in a business analyst role, with responsibility for leading analysis activities within large-scale transformation and software development projects
  • Experience managing projects or delivering workstreams alongside business analysis responsibilities
  • Experience line managing or mentoring team members
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders to influence decisions and shape outcomes
  • Experience contributing to or supporting strategic roadmap planning
  • Graduate in an IT or business-related subject preferable
  • Experience using project and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, MS Project, Planner, Miro, Visio, Office 365)
  • Experience leading workshops, documenting requirements, and presenting outcomes to senior and executive-level stakeholders
  • Experience working within SDLC and Agile environments, understanding how requirements move through the delivery lifecycle
  • Experience with system integrations, APIs, and data flows within complex software environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver across concurrent initiatives
