Job Summary

The Marketing Director at Comcast Business is responsible for directing the overall marketing effort in a competitive environment for Comcast Business in the Freedom Region covering Greater Philadelphia, New Jersey and NYC. Assists Regional Vice President with business planning in the implementation of go to market strategies, sales enablement and customer engagement. Leads the Regional Comcast Business marketing team in preparing the department budget and execution of strategies and tactics. Ensures that communication of current initiatives, promotions and campaigns are accurately, timely and effectively communicated to large sales team. Serves as liaison between Region, Division, Corporate and Marketing personnel to ensure that each group is informed of most recent product marketing developments and plans.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

1. Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth.
  • Align marketing initiatives with overall business goals and sales objectives.
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to refine marketing efforts.

2. Campaign Development & Execution

  • Oversee the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, email, social media, events, and traditional advertising.
  • Manage content development for websites, sales collateral, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels.

3. Sales & Product Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales teams to provide marketing support and sales enablement tools.
  • Partner with product teams to position offerings effectively and drive go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop B2B messaging tailored for small, medium, and enterprise-level business customers.

4. Data Analysis & Performance Optimization

  • Track and analyze marketing performance metrics to assess campaign effectiveness.
  • Optimize marketing spend based on data-driven insights.
  • Use customer segmentation and insights to refine targeting and personalization efforts.

5. Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and manage a team of marketers, designers, and analysts.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

6. Budget & Vendor Management

  • Oversee the marketing budget and ensure cost-effective allocation of resources.
  • Manage relationships with agencies, vendors, and media partners.

Please also note the role requires consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance as this position will require to be in the office full time. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
