Job Description

This is an exciting time to join the FMN Delivery Team, the delivery environment is both challenging and rewarding. As the Senior Project Manager, you will be supported by an engineering and project controls team who have the same focus as you. We want a Senior Project Manager who is: 

• Able to provide project and commercial leadership to sub project managers and wider team members. 

• Able to lead and motivate a diverse team to deliver benefits to the client 

• Equipped with strong communication skills to enable engagement with a wide range of Stakeholders. 

• Comfortable negotiating a way through conflict. 

• Able to delivery projects in a safe and efficient manner 

• Able to support a growing business and to function in an operational role between projects

The Senior Project Manager is a key role and will be responsible for delivering assigned packages of work which vary in complexity and may include FEED design in mechanical, EC&I and systems engineering.

Accountabilities 

The Senior Project Manager is accountable for overall performance of assigned work packages, including: 

• Delivery of assigned packages of work as per contract conditions (NEC4 or other) 

• Cost and schedule performance of assigned work packages. 

• Risk management. 

• Management of assigned project managers. 

• Project set up, SQEP assessment, Project governance, Project close out and LFE. 

Qualifications

Essential Skills & Experience 

• Engineering design and construction experience preferred. 

• NEC4 PSC Experience

• Can evidence leading major projects in a highly regulated industry as Senior Project Manager 

• Full project lifecycle experience from business case approval, design, execution, handover. 

• Experience of contract management and change control. 

• Experience of risk management. 

• BSc/BEng in a related engineering/construction/project management discipline. 

• Association for Project Management Registered Project Professional.

• CEMAR experience.
