UK Clinical Study Manager
Join our diverse and dynamic team as a Senior Local Trial Manager at ICON, where you will play a key role in driving the successful delivery of clinical studies across the UK. Reporting directly to the Country Head, you will oversee the execution of trial activities and ensure project objectives are met to the highest standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the planning and execution of Oncology clinical trial activities, ensuring alignment with study goals and timelines.
Manage and coordinate cross‑functional teams at a local level to ensure seamless trial delivery.
Review monitoring visit reports and ensure quality oversight of site performance.
Provide leadership to clinical operations teams, promoting excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Oversee the development of trial documentation and reports, presenting insights and outcomes clearly to stakeholders.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific discipline.
Significant experience in clinical trial management, ideally supported by a background in monitoring.
Proven success leading local clinical trials within the pharmaceutical or biotech sector.
Strong command of project management tools and methodologies, with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent prioritisation skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management and mentoring.
Outstanding communication skills, capable of translating complex technical information for varied audiences.
Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
