The Senior Test Automation Engineer will architect automation frameworks, mentor team members, and enhance test automation strategies across platforms.
Our Test Automation team is the backbone of quality across our products — from iOS and Android to macOS, Windows, Linux, web, web apps, and APIs. The team builds and maintains the frameworks and infrastructure that enable product teams to create reliable, scalable, and automated tests.
We’re currently transitioning toward a true platform team model. While some teams have already fully embraced their test automation, others are still working towards it. This role will play a key part in supporting that shift and helping teams take full ownership of quality.
If you want to:
- Architect and establish robust test automation frameworks across our platform ecosystem (mobile, desktop, web, API);
- Help drive the transition toward a platform-based test automation approach;
- Expand and maintain our device farm, ensuring coverage, scalability, and reliability;
- Contribute to improving the device farm infrastructure, including stability, automation, and setup;
- Actively contribute to defining and evolving the test automation strategy across the organization;
- Lead by example and mentor other team members on best practices for automation and testing.
And you can check off:
- Track record in test automation;
- Strong experience using JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation;
- Hands-on work with frameworks such as Playwright, WebdriverIO, or Appium;
- Familiarity with integrating and running automated tests in CI/CD pipelines;
- Solid understanding of test case design and management;
- Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of complex testing initiatives;
- Dedication and passion for ensuring product stability and quality.
Here’s the deal:
- Growth and learning opportunities: time dedicated to learning, conferences, online learning platforms, and books for your professional development;
- Health and wellness: we want you to feel and be your best. That's why we offer various benefits, from online workouts and a physical coach to health insurance and regular mental health checks;
- Tools of your choice: choose the technical equipment and tools you need to do your best work;
- Community and celebrations: get ready for long-lasting traditions such as yearly workation, Friday get-togethers, various team buildings and company celebrations;
- Work-life balance: as a general rule, we work based on a 3+2 hybrid model. And let’s not forget the WFA policy – an opportunity to work from anywhere in the world;
- More days off: additional vacation days depending on your tenure;
- Premium Surfshark accounts: for you, your family, and friends;
- Gross salary: 3300-5800 Eur/month. Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.
