Rowse Honey is the leading honey brand in the UK, known for our commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation. Our factory in Wallingford is the heart of our operations, where we blend tradition with cutting-edge technology to produce our world-famous honey products.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving the success of our engineering projects, from conception through to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, excellent project management skills, and a passion for continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and manage engineering projects ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. This includes planning, execution, monitoring, and closing projects.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate and supervise project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide engineering solutions to complex problems, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, implementing innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial accountability.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive problem-solving and decision-making.


Qualifications

  • A proven track record of high level of achievement in a FMCG environment, demonstrating an active attitude to Health and Safety and Technical standards, supported by high level of Engineering knowledge.
  • The ability to get ‘buy in’ from stake holders by creating detailed, data driven business cases.
  • The ability to deliver and drive change through robust leadership, with the ability to communicate with all the different levels within the business. You will have a consistent and empowering style, supporting project teams to reach “high performing team” status through cross functional working.
  • Hands on experience of managing large complex projects. Full understanding of the demands and accountability on ensuring that project management delivers the business improvements.


Additional Information

Monday - Friday / 40 hours a week. 

Salary - up to £63,000 per annum.
