As a Game Designer at Hypemasters, you will design and develop new game mechanics, create detailed game design documents, collaborate with cross-functional teams, test and iterate game features, analyze player behavior, and conduct usability testing to enhance game experiences.
Hypemasters is a fast-growing game development company that creates innovative mobile and PC games, driven by creativity and engaging gameplay. In addition to our title, World War Armies, we are developing exciting new projects across different genres. We are currently looking for a Game Designer to join our team and help us push the boundaries.
As a Game Designer at Hypemasters, you'll shape and build core game systems and mechanics. Working side by side with top designers, artists, and programmers, you'll craft unforgettable game experiences. This hands-on role demands a blend of creativity, technical skill, and a deep grasp of game design principles, covering everything from player engagement to pacing and balance.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new game mechanics, systems, and features
- Create detailed game design documents and user stories
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including artists, engineers, and producers, to ensure the successful delivery of game features
- Test and iterate on existing features to improve the game KPIs
- Conduct research and analyse player behaviour to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user interface designs
- Develop product roadmaps and feature prioritisation plans
- Conduct usability testing and user research to gather feedback and iterate on designs
- At least 3 years of experience in game design or product design within the mobile gaming industry
- Experience with shooter or FPS (first-person shooter) games is a plus
- Strong understanding of game design principles and mechanics
- Excellent English skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with game design tools, product design tools, and Unity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
